Johann is a co-founder and director at Eloff & Andrews Clinical Psychology. He completed his Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland. Johann is an experienced clinician, AHPRA endorsed supervisor and advanced certified Schema Therapist. Since 2007 he has supported clients in both public and private settings. Johann takes a supportive, compassionate, and person-centred approach to working with his clients and his primary treatment modalities include Schema Therapy (ST), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). He is passionate about treating adult clients with:
complex difficulties including trauma
personality disorders
chronic depression and anxiety.
Johann was named the winner of the inaugural Australian Patients Association Outstanding Psychologist Award 2024 and a finalist for the Australian Allied Health Awards Psychologist of the Year.
Johann is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is endorsed as a clinical psychologist by the PBA. He is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
