Psychologist, BA, GradDipPsych, PostGradDipProfPsych
Sarah is a psychologist who has worked with children and their families, and adults of all ages for over 15 years; across correctional services, education, disability, child safety, and private practice. Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at the Australian Catholic University, and postgraduate qualifications at the University of Southern Queensland. She has additional training in childhood trauma, complex behaviour support, working with neurodivergent children and adults, and Schema Therapy. Sarah also offers assessment of Autism and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Sarah believes each person is unique and deserves to be celebrated for who they are. She provides a neurodiversity affirming, holistic, trauma-informed, and relationship focussed approach. Rather than limiting the tools at her disposal, Sarah uses a combination of evidence-based play and talking therapies which she adapts toward each individual’s needs.
While Sarah has vast experience with clients of all ages and backgrounds, she is especially passionate about working with children and adolescents. Being a mother of three young children herself, she has a desire to support new and expecting parents, believing that the provision of early care can positively impact relationship and wellbeing long term. Sarah is experienced with and greatly enjoys working with people on an NDIS plan.
